Listen, you're seeking connection while trying to survive, and that is not easy. This tarot spread is meant to help you examine where you might be over-investing. Personal ambition (surviving feels ambitious these days, I know) at the expense of intimacy. Or vice versa. Dissociating into intimacy because the real world feels like too much. 

Today, consider how the effort you put into partnerships can/will directly shape your long-term stability. Consider the patterns that repeat in your love life. Make room for ambition and play.

Card 1: Where must I claim or release power in my love life?

Maybe you like to plan detailed dates for someone who doesn't bother to put on deodorant before meeting up with you. Or maybe you're with someone who would like some extra attention, affection, and initiative from you, but doesn't know how to express that. Do you need to let your partner pick up the bill more often? Etc.

Card 2: How do material goals affect my love life?

The lead vocalist in the local band with two child support payments may be hot, but is he in the position to be a long-term partner? Will he be able to pay half a mortgage or help with your future kids? Maybe that doesn't matter to you. Maybe you make six figures and just want a boy-toy (good for you)!
