Embrace Change and Shape the Next 20 Years
To go straight to the Tarot spread, scroll down.
We’ve entered November drenched in chaos. And I do mean drenched. Flooding has been reported worldwide, the latest victim being Spain. Next week is the United States’ presidential election and we’ve already seen ballot boxes set on fire and brandished weapons at the polls. There was a shooting in downtown Orlando at a Halloween event that left two men dead and seven people injured. The violence will only escalate.
Astrologically, the news is not that surprising. Scorpio is the most intense water sign; water correlates to emotions. We’re in our feelings. And when a nation hasn’t learned to process feelings in a healthy manner, you’re going to see increasing levels of violence. Mental health matters, kids.
Important astrological transits for November 2024:
November 1: New Moon in Scorpio
November 3: Mars enters Leo
November 11: Venus enters Capricorn
November 15: Full Moon in Taurus
November 19: Pluto enters Aquarius for the next 20 years
November 21: Sagittarius season begins
November 25: Mercury Retrograde begins in Sagittarius
November 30: New Moon in Sagittarius
If you’re in spiritual circles already, you’re probably sick of hearing the word transformation. I know I am. But this time it’s for real. We’re in Scorpio season, represented by the Death card in Tarot. Death can be literal or it can be the transformation of your appearance, money, family life, love life, career, etc. For this reason, the intentions you set on the New Moon in Scorpio will have more sticking power than those set on any other new moon of the year.
I’m particularly excited for Pluto entering Aquarius on November 19 for the next twenty years. Its timing during Scorpio season highlights how this is the beginning of a major societal shift. If you’ve been waiting for the world to go “back to normal” since 2020, I hate to burst your bubble, but that’s never going to happen. The normal of 2019 is dead. The world is changing, and it will become even more obvious after November 19.
For example, Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, a year that was marked by the housing market crash. It’s 2024 — can you see how the housing market crash of 2008 transformed how we view home ownership today?
Change isn’t all bad. The same year that brought the housing market crash was the year the United States elected its first Black president.
It should go without saying that whoever wins the 2024 presidential election will have an effect on the country for the next twenty years. And because we’re not exactly known for staying quiet and to ourselves, the winner will affect the rest of the world for the next twenty years as well. Please vote.
Think of the second half of November 2024 as an NFL kicker (pick one, because I don’t know sports) and you are a tiny football flying through the air towards 2043.
November is about preparing for the next stage in your life.
That’s why the November 2024 Tarot Spread focuses on the next twenty years. Step away from the chaotic present and think about where you want to be when Pluto exits Aquarius.
